It has three outputs: open, close, and stop. Its outputs interlock each other and shared common ground. They are standalone Wi-Fi access devices and no smart hub is needed. The integrated clutch system releases the drive head when the motor is not running, so it will save power and make it easy to manually open/close the curtain with just a finger.
