How to Replace a Wand Tilt Mechanism: 1) With the pliers, remove any end stiffeners that are pressed into both sides of the end of the head rail. 2) Slide the metal rod out of the gear from the old wand tilt mechanism. 3) Slightly spread the head rail to remove the tilter from the head rail. 4) Install the new tilter by seating the tilter and then sliding the metal rod through the center gear hole. 5) Put end stiffeners back on, attach wand, and then hang up blind.
