Mid America Building Products - 3" VINYL SHUTTER-LOK SPIKES "Paintable #030" Choose quantity in "drop down" menu above. !!!!!THIS PRODUCT MUST BE PAINTED!!!!! Make sure Shutter-Loks are clean and free from debris and oil.Please use a TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) based cleaner prior to painting.For best results, use a 100% acrylic paint.Can use a paint that is formulated to bond to plastic/vinyl products such asSherwin Williams A100 (or equivalent).Always follow the paint manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and priming prior to painting. Use (4) spikes per shutter up to 43" Use (6) spikes per shutter for 44" and over Drill 1/4" hole thru shutter and into wall deep enough to accept full length of Shutter-Lok. Gently tap Shutter-Lok thru shutter and into hole. Do not over tighten shutter to wall. Shutters will expand/contract with weather changes.
